Taste of the food is decent. But the chicken wasn’t chopped properly and all connected together. Chefs need to sharpen their knives for doing better jobs.

Disappointing experience. All the food, except the wanton soup, was served COLD, and the chicken had a strong gamey smell and COLD.

today 18/5/2025 , i claim for ‘FREE’ ONE SINGLE COMBO MEAL and deduct 150 points in app. but the one who took my order said this one doesn’t have chicken rice included (only chicken) so he told me to add-on one. he might be misunderstood

Have ate here twice. it's average as far as The Chicken Rice Shop goes. Typical TCRS experience. Food quality and taste have declined over the past few years, but that's a brand issue, not this particular restaurant issue but it reflects.

Had a wonderful dining experience at The Chicken Rice Shop, Ipoh Parade. The service was excellent — staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcomed from the moment we stepped in.

The rice with chicken is good. I love it and can even eat more. The noodles does not meet my taste much, so I did noy enjoy this set. You scan the QR code for oỏder. The staff is active and useful helping me as I'm quite new to the brand. Love it.

Really enjoyed my visit here. The staff were attentive, friendly and warm. The food was delicious: I ordered a large portion chicken curry with rice and it was nicely seasoned with generously meaty pieces. I like the fact that you can order a free soft drink refill. Look forward to returning.
