This is a sit-down, listen-properly kind of acara, not a nightclub queue.
Who is actually playing
The bill is contemporary Malaysian jazz, not a covers-only dinner band. KVWO Ipoh's booking post names pianist Tay Cher Siang, AJ Popshuvit, Aubry Yaw and Farid Izwan. If you follow KL jazz rooms, those names are not mystery acts. Cher Siang is a regular festival pianist. Popshuvit sits in that hip-hop and jazz overlap that Ipoh rarely books in a hotel lounge. The set starts at 2pm. Doors will fill earlier because the ticket includes the buffet, and nobody wants the last pastry.
The price is the whole afternoon. RM125 covers concert plus hi-tea. That is not cheap by Old Town kopitiam standards, and it is not meant to be. It is a hotel sitting, plated or buffet depending on how Khaya Restaurant stages it that day. The hotel's own dining page lists Khaya as all-day local and international food, plus a coffee lounge with a visible pastry kitchen. If you are coming only for white coffee and beansprouts, this is the wrong Sunday. If you want air-con, a proper seat, and live horns after lunch, it fits.

Do not plan to combine this with a cave-temple morning unless you like rushing. The music is at 2pm. Give yourself time to park, check the table, and sit before the first number.
Bookings were still going through KVWO Ipoh's Instagram QR and bio link as of late August. There is no giant ticketing platform page with a seat map. Treat it like a hotel event. Message the organiser, pay, and keep the confirmation. If you show up without a ticket on a 100-seat afternoon, you will be eating elsewhere.

The hotel sells itself as a 1960s time capsule with keyless entry and a lounge check-in. Rooms on the site run Superior King, Deluxe King, Deluxe Twin, and a Premium King. After the set, Old Town is still a short Grab for dinner. Nga Choi Gai and white coffee are not going anywhere. Or stay put and eat in-house. The pool is a gimmick worth five minutes for a photo, then go back downstairs. Sunday evenings in Ipoh still belong to the shophouses, not the airport road.
